Diversity is a distinctive feature of modern society.To govern the borderland effectively and realize its modernization,it is essential to break the former single,linear,and flat governance model to adapt to the diverse development demands of modern society.This is of great practical significance for advancing the modernization of borderland governance and integrating into the modernization of national governance and conforming to the modernization of global development.Therefore,it is necessary to change governance views and open up governance paths.The modernization in the borderland areas can be realized by coordinating the differences in diverse interests,improving the coordination of multiple subjects,promoting the full integration of multiple resources,and innovating multiple effective governance methods,and promoting the development of border areas with multiple co-governance ideas and paths.
