Flood regulation exercises for water projects of Hubei Province:practices and considerations

湖北省连续两年开展以水利工程防洪调度为主的演练活动,探索出防洪调度演练实践“五点”做法,针对调度演练暴露出的问题,提出贴近实战,全面提升洪水调度演练水平;强化基础,加强洪水调度演练基础研究;补齐短板,提高水利工程软硬件支撑能力;搭建平台,畅通信息共享渠道等四点思考,以推动水利工程防洪调度水平提升。

Hubei Province has carried out exercises of regulating flood by water projects for two consecutive years,and summarized“five points”for strengthening flood control.Facing the problems encountered during exercises,four considerations area raised,including closing to the actual combat and comprehensively improving the level of flood regulation exercises,strengthening research and studies for consolidating foundations,making up shortcomings for enhancing capacity with software and hardware and establishing a platform for information sharing,so as to improve operation level of water project for flood control.
