Objective:To investigate the patient compliance and influencing factors of colonoscopy re-examination after experiencing colorectal adenomatous polypectomy. Methods:Patients who were diagnosed of adenomatous polyp and received their first endoscopic polyp treatment in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nantong University Endoscopy Center between January 1,2015 and August 31,2016 were selected as subjects of this study.Statistical analysis was performed on the influencing factors of colonoscopy re-examination.Results:We collected data on 1013 cases of colorectal endoscopy re-examination.Single factor analysis showed that decisions of re-examination were significantly(P<0.05)impacted by patients location of residence, presence of symptoms, location, size and pathological type of the polyp, and the method of resection.Logistic regression analysis revealed that the location of residence, the polyp location, the pathological type, the type of surgery and the presence of symptoms were statistically significant(P<0.05)in affecting the decision of re-examination.Conclusion:Re-examination compliance is low in patients with colon adenomatous polyps. It is necessary to standardize influencing factors which promote re-examination and reduce factors which hinder colonoscopy re-examination,thus reducing the incidence of colorectal cancer.
