This article introduces the clinical experience of Professor CHEN Bojun in the treatment of hypertensive crisis with traditional Chinese medicine.Under the guidance of theory of traditional Chinese and western medicine,and in combination with many years of experience in clinical practice,Professor CHEN thinks that the imbalance of yin,yang,qi and blood,in combination with the pathogenic wind,fire,heat,poison,phlegm,blood stasis,and water is the total pathogenesis of hypertensive crisis,and puts forward the treatment principle of"treating acute and chronic diseases separately,supplying deficiency and expelling excess",establishes the treatment methods of"focusing on the treatment of liver and kidney,regulating yin and yang,draining qi and blood,and dispelling pathogenic factors",and also emphasizes the awareness of preventing and treating hypertension.
