The compilation of The Complete Works of Guo Moro was the result of the power game in the literature field.This paper summarizes the causes of the phenomenon of“incompleteness of complete works”through examination and analysis of the relevant literature.Then,taking individual texts as examples,it explores the complex relationship between various cultural forces in the formation process of The Complete Works of Guo Moro.On this basis,the paper investigates the pragmatic attitude of modern Chinese intellectuals to political culture and the basic logic and pattern norms behind the complete works of classic writers such as Guo Moro.
