裂开的苹果岩是怎么来的钥很久以前,众神为了一个美味的金苹果而战。在战斗中,苹果从天上滑落,落在地上裂开了,变成了石头。然而,这是个彻头彻尾的谎言,是当我来到新西兰南岛的亚伯塔斯曼参观著名的裂开的苹果岩时,我幽默的导游对我说的。他还提到了毛利人的传说,传说中有两位神在争夺一块圆形巨石。为了证明自己的力量,他们各自抓住了岩石的一边,拉扯导致岩石裂开。多么有趣的故事啊!

How did Split Apple Rock came into existence?Long ago,the gods were fighting over a delicious golden apple.In the fight,the apple slipped from the heaven and fell on to the ground and split,turning into a stone.Well that was a complete lie,told to me by my very humorous tour guide,as I came to see the famous Split Apple Rock here at Abel Tasman in South Island,New Zealand.He also mentioned the Maori legend,which states that two gods were fighting over a large boulder2.To prove their strength,they each grabbed hold of one end of the rock,and the tugging3 resulted in the split.Such interesting stories!
