Under Biden as the US President, the damage that Trump caused to the transatlantic relationship could be repaired to some extent. The disputes between Europe and the US are expected to reduce while the cooperation will increase. However, the improvement of the transatlantic relationship is not unlimited, due to the societal and political changes that have fundamentally taken place within Europe and the US, as well as the complex international geopolitical and economic situation that confronts them both. On the China issue, the two parties would strengthen their coordination, which will add new pressure on China-EU relations.
