摘要
"新类型公共艺术"是20世纪七八十年代出现在美国的公共艺术运动,它不同于户外雕塑、环境艺术和景观设计,它试图解决社会问题,提升大众参与度,减弱公共艺术创作中的固态化倾向,关心弱势群体的社会困境,是左翼激进社会意识在当代艺术实践中的反应。其倡导者和参与者也大都是有较高文化素质、多种艺术才能和良好社会活动能力的学者。
New Genre Public Art was a public art movement that appeared in the United States in the 1970s and 1980s,It is different from outdoor sculpture,environmental art and landscape design,Trying to solve social problems,it helps with public participation to reduce the tendency of solid state in public art creation.Concerned about the social plight of the disadvantaged,it is the reaction of left-wing radical social consciousness in contemporary art practice.Most of its advocators and participants are intellectuals with high cultural quality,various artistic abilities and good social activities.
