托米·格恩隆德(Tommi Grönlund)和帕特里·尼苏南(PetteriNisunen)是芬兰重要且具代表性的当代艺术家组合,现居赫尔辛基。他们两人都有建筑专业背景,自20世纪90年代开始合作至今,长期在公共艺术、当代艺术、建筑、声音艺术等领域进行跨界创作。曾获莱昂纳多·达·芬奇世界文化奖(2013)、瑞典Edstrand基金会艺木奖(2003)、芬兰国家艺术奖(2001)等。参加过的大展包括第一届欧洲宣言展、第四十九届威尼斯双年展北欧馆、第三届莫斯科双年展、第五届马拉喀什双年展等。他们的作品被赫尔辛基当代艺术博物馆(KIASMA)、卢森堡现代艺术博物馆(MUDAM)、埃斯波当代艺木馆(EMMA)等国际美术馆收藏。2020年5月,上海民生现代美术馆举办了托米·格恩隆德和帕特里·尼苏南在中国的首个个展,借此契机,本刊特约记者张羽洁针对其公共艺术作品的创作,就艺术表达、空间、在地性之间的关系和创作方法采访了艺术家组合。
Tommi Grönlund and Petteri Nisunen are important and representative contemporary artists in Finland,Living in Helsinki.They both have architectural backgrounds,and have cooperated since the early 1990s in a long-term cross-border creation in public art,contemporary art,architecture,sound art and other fields.They have won the Leonardo da Vinci World Award of Art(2013),Edstrandska Stiftelsen(2003),Finnish State Awards for Arts(2001),etc.Major exhibitions they participated include:Manifesta 1,the 49th Venice Biennale(Nordic Pavilion),the 3rd Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art,the 5th Marrakech Biennale,etc.Their works have been collected by Helsinki Museum of Contemporary Art(KIASMA),The Contemporary Art Museum of Luxembourg(MUDAM),the Espoo Museum of Modem Art(EMMA)and other major art museums worldwide.In May 2020,The Shanghai Minsheng Art Museum held their first solo exhibition in China.Our special correspondent Zhang Yujie interviewed them about their understanding of the artistic expression,relationship between spatiality and sitespecificity and their creation methods.
