外商直接投资视角下全球价值链嵌入的经济增长效应研究

Global value chain embedding,foreign direct investment and regional economic growth

基于OECD和WTO联合发布的2018版TIVA数据库测算2005—2016年我国全球价值链指数,并匹配到省(市、自治区)层面,构建实证模型检验全球价值链嵌入的经济增长效应及特征。研究发现:各省(市、自治区)的全球价值链嵌入对区域经济增长具有显著的正向促进作用且该作用具有明显倒“U”型特征。现阶段全球价值链嵌入对区域经济增长主要起着正向促进作用。并且,全球价值链嵌入在外商直接投资对区域经济增长的正向促进作用中发挥着中介效应。

Based on the 2018 TIVA database jointly released by OECD and WTO, my country’s global value chain index was calculated from 2005 to 2016, and matched to the province level, and an empirical model was constructed to test the economic growth effects and characteristics embedded in global value chains. The study found that the global value chain embedding in each province has a significant positive promotion effect on regional economic growth and this effect has an obvious inverted "U"-shaped characteristic. At this stage, global value chain embedding mainly plays a positive role in promoting regional economic growth. Moreover, the global value chain embedded in the positive promotion of foreign direct investment to regional economic growth plays an intermediary effect.
