目的论视域下桂陶英译研究

A Study on English Translation of Guangxi Ceramic from The Perspective of Skopos Theory

桂陶是泥与火交融的结晶,在万年变迁中风韵犹存,作为文化载体之一,展示了广西先民的智慧与文明。桂陶文本英译有助于传播广西陶文化,有助于探索广西先民的智慧,促进桂陶艺术与文化的传播与交流,推动中国文化与各国文化的交融。术语及所含专业知识较多,故英译较为困难,现有英译资料甚少。本文将从目的论的视角探究桂陶英译难点、原因及对策,以期更好地推动桂陶文化的转播,促进陶文化与各国文化的融合与发展。

Guangxi Ceramic remaining its own attractiveness after thousands years,is a combination of clay and fire and one of cultural carriers,showing the wisdom and civilization of the ancient People in Guangxi.The English translation of the texts relevant to Guangxi Ceramic is conducive to the transmission of Guangxi Ceramic culture,to exploring the wisdom of Guangxi’s ancestors,to promoting the dissemination and exchange of ceramic art and culture,and to enhancing the integration of Chinese culture and cultures of other countries.It is difficult to translate the terms and the words and sentences with professional knowledge into English,so that there are a few available translated materials.This paper will explore the difficulties,causes and counter-measures in the translation of Guangxi Ceramic from the perspective of Skopos Theory with the purpose of further promoting the transmission of ceramic culture and the integration and development of ceramic culture among China and other countries.
