An Analysis on the Connotation and Value of “Indo-Pacific” in the Regional Perspective

"印太"是一个流行却极富争议的词汇。然而,"印太"地区实际上作为一个整体崛起于亚洲边缘却已成为一个客观事实,在经济、政治与安全领域具有显著的客观地缘属性,因而其超越了美国、印度等国的"印太"战略或构想。作为一个战略影响力覆盖西太平洋与印度洋地区的国家,中国是一个典型的"印太"地区国家;中国是"印太"地区客观上形成崛起态势的重要因素,因此不应也难以被排除在"印太"地区多边框架之外。不仅如此,中国还可在"印太"地区一体化发展进程中扮演关键推动者的角色。

"Indo-Pacific"is a prevailing but controversial term. It is real that the rise of Indo-Pacific as a whole at the margin of Asia is an objective fact. The term of "Indo-pacific"has its own objective nature in the field of economic,politics and security beyond the mean of American or Indian Indo-Pacific strategy. China,which has strategic impacts on both of West Pacific and the Indian Ocean,is a typical Indo-Pacific Country. China is the main factor of the objective rising trend of the "Indo-Pacific"region. China cannot be excluded from the multilateral framework of the "Indo-Pacific"region and China can play a key role in promoting the development of integration in the India-pacific region.
