The article analyzes the current situation and reasons of the low aesthetic ability of industrial design students in engineering colleges,and discusses the importance and necessity of improving the aesthetic ability of industrial design students in engineering colleges.Put forward the"moisturizing and silent"type of training methods,calling for more social forces and educators to pay attention to the overall development of the aesthetic ability,personality shaping and comprehensive quality of industrial design students.
