新工科背景下细胞生物学课程全英文教学的探索和思考

“新工科”开启了新型复合人才培养的新时代,在此背景下培养出的合格人才应具备良好的专业素养和国际化视野。全英文授课是实现该目标的重要方式之一。西北工业大学生物技术专业国际班开展了《细胞生物学》课程的全英文授课,本课程的目的是为生物技术人才打下专业核心知识的坚实基础,并为培养“厚基础、宽口径”的高素质复合人才提供支持。《细胞生物学》课程内容的建设在经典专业知识的基础上,紧密结合细胞生物学领域的最新国际进展;课堂教学方式采用包括小组讨论、翻转课堂、科研文献研读和多元化考核模式在内的多种混合方式进行;同时参考生命科学领域最新权威教材和网络资源,拓展学生国际化视野,为培养新工科背景下具有国际化视野的生命科学复合人才进行积极探索。

"New engineering"has opened a new era of new compound talents training.Under this background,qualified talents should have good professional quality and international vision.Teaching in English is one of the important ways to achieve this goal.The international class of biotechnology in Northwestern Polytechnic University has carried out the whole English Teaching of"cell biology".The purpose of this course is to lay a solid foundation of professional core knowledge for Biotechnology talents,and to provide support for the cultivation of high-quality compound talents with"thick foundation and wide caliber".The construction of cell biology course content is based on the classic professional knowledge,closely combined with the latest international progress in cell biology field;the classroom teaching methods include group discussion,flipped classroom,scientific research literature study and diversified assessment mode;at the same time,referring to the latest authoritative teaching materials and network resources in the field of life science,we expand the study Students'international vision is to actively explore the cultivation of life science compound talents with international vision under the background of new engineering.
