Professor WANG Juxiang’s Clinical Experience in Treating Gastric Cancer

王居祥教授认为,胃癌的病机关键在于阳虚气结,其发病以脾胃虚寒为本,气机郁结为标,痰湿瘀血为病理产物,亦为促进病情发展的病理因素。治疗应扶正兼顾祛邪,扶正重在温补脾胃,益气养血,祛邪重视疏肝理气和胃,结合化痰软坚、清热解毒、活血化瘀等治法,扶正不留邪,祛邪不伤正。坚持中西医综合治疗结合个体化治疗的原则,强调长期调治。

Professor Wang Juxiang believes that the key pathogenesis of gastric cancer lies in yang deficiency and qi stagnation.Deficiency and cold of spleen and stomach are the root of the disease,whereas qi stagnation is its manifestation,and phlegm dampness and blood stasis are pathological products on the one hand,pathological factors to promote the development of the disease on the other hand.Treatment is supposed to aim for strengthening vital qi and eliminating pathogenic factors,the former focusing on warming spleen and tonifying stomach,replenishing qi and nourishing blood,while the latter on dispersing the stagnated liver qi,regulating qi and harmonizing stomach.Combined with additional treatments,such as dissipating phlegm and resolving masses,clearing heat and removing toxicity,promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis,the treatment of strengthening vital qi and eliminating pathogens is believed to be able to achieve the goal of strengthening the body without leaving pathogenic factors,and eliminating pathogenic factors without damaging the body.In clinical practice,it is advised to adhere to the principle of application of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine,combined with individualized treatment,and it is advocated to have long-term nursing and treatment.
