This paper explores whether dragon dance and training suspension can significantly improve the aerobic exercise capacity and physical shape of college students.Using experimental methods, data analysis methods,etc.,10 students from the Physical Education College of Yangzhou University were selected to perform dragon dance training for 8 weeks,5 times a week,2 hours each time with no extra exercise. Conclusion:The dragon dance exercise can significantly improve the aerobic exercise capacity of college athletes and change their body shape significantly. After stopping training for a period of time, the aerobic exercise capacity of college athletes decreased significantly, and the body shape changed significantly. The reason for the decrease in aerobic exercise capacity is not only related to the decrease in cardiopulmonary capacity, but also may be related to the decrease in skeletal muscle strength, muscle fiber atrophy, and skeletal muscle metabolism and its ability to take up and use oxygen.
