Justification of Uniqueness of Intention in the Perspective of Signaling Game

信息哲学是当代科学哲学中的前沿领域之一,而关于信号的哲学研究是信息哲学的基础,也是信息哲学与语言哲学、心灵哲学、行动哲学等其他领域进行互动的纽带,因此以关于信号和信息的哲学理论去理解意图的本质就成为了可能。意图反映的是行动者用以协调自己的行动以及协调自己与他人互动的实践推理能力,而这种协同性恰好可以运用信息哲学中的信号博弈模型进行较为准确和全面的阐述,而且这种阐述还可以为意图区别于其他意向状态的独特性提供一种新的辩护,并进而运用到对诸如集体意图的本体论地位等其他哲学论题的探讨之中。所以,关于意图的信号博弈模型将会为意图的形而上学以及行动的形而上学提供一种新的研究框架。

The philosophical research of signal is the foundation of philosophy of information,that is one of frontier domains of philosophy of science,and it is also a bridge between philosophy of information and other philosophical research domains,such as philosophy of language,philosophy of mind,philosophy of action,which makes the research of the nature of intention in the framework of the philosophy of signal and information possible.Intention shows the agents’ability to coordinate one’s own action in different times,and also to coordinate others’action in the performance of collective actions,that ability to coordinate can be demonstrated by signaling games of the philosophy of information.Accordingly,this demonstration will provide a new justification of the uniqueness of intention.Therefore,the approach of the signaling game of intention will prospectively provide the metaphysical study of intention and action with a whole new frame.
