Study on Liu Guojun Creating the National Library of Northwest and His Library Building Thoughts

刘国钧抓住历史机遇,不畏艰辛,带领全体筹备人员和全馆工作人员,创建国立西北图书馆,很好地完成了历史使命。文中将创设国立图书馆置入时代背景中加以考察,分析当时开发西北教育先行之必然,阐述国立西北图书馆的创设过程。由此分析刘国钧主要建馆思想是:紧扣西北特色,创新图书馆学理论;推广图书教育,实践现代图书馆功能;实现国立西北图书馆的三个中心之目标。通过胎死于筹备期的国立罗斯福图书馆和国立西安图书馆的简述,更体现出在刘国钧的带领下,创建国立西北图书馆的历史功绩。

Liu Guojun,not afraid of hardship,seized a historical opportunity and led all the preparatory staff and the whole staff to create the National Library of Northwest.The paper put the creation of a national library into the era background to investigate,analyzed the development of northwest education first and elaborated the creating process of the National Library of Northwest.From the analysis,Liu Guojun’s main building thought is got:sticking to the northwest features and innovating library science theory;promoting library education and practicing modern library functions;and realizing the three central goals of the National Library of Northwest.By introducing the fetal death of the National Library of Xi’an and the National Library of Roosevelt in the preparatory period,the historical legacy of creating the National Library of Northwest can be more reflected under the leadership of Liu Guojun.
