摘要
创作于14世纪的夏鲁寺大回廊“猕猴王本生”壁画,以图像再现向观者陈述佛陀前世作为菩萨时的事迹。从该壁画的图像特征、造型元素及空间营造,可以看到这种再现特征表现为“象与言”的关系,体现了一种异域化诠释,也体现了艺术真实与自然真实的关系。其再现的实质是美术再现性与表现性的协同作用,即这种再现是一种抽象再现或象征再现或隐喻再现。同时,该壁画图像再现的真实意图是象征一种佛教意象的存在。面对夏鲁寺这些相对通俗易懂的佛传及本生故事画,不同的观看及目的都需要我们仔细考量其图像再现及其内涵。
Mahakaop-Jadaka murals,created in 14 th century,describes the previous life stories of Buddha as a Bodhisattva. The image representation of these murals demonstrated the relationship between ’images and words’ by comparing the features,formative elements and spatial structure,and reflected the relationship between the artistic truth and the nature truth. The essential of the representation form is the coordination of reproducibility and expression of art,that is to say the representation is an abstract,image or metaphor expression. Meanwhile,the real intention of the image reappearance symbolizes the existence of buddha dharma. Seeing these Mahakaoi-Jadaka murals easy to understand,with the purpose of different viewing,the image representative forms and its connotations need to be carefully studied by relative researchers.
