大学生时间洞察力与网络游戏成瘾的关系:自我控制的中介作用

Time perspective and internet gaming addiction:The mediating role of self-control in college students

为了考察大学生时间洞察力对网络游戏成瘾的影响以及自我控制在其中的中介作用及其性别差异,采用大学生时间洞察力量表、中文版自我控制量表和大学生网络游戏成瘾量表对708名在校大学生进行测查。结果发现:(1)从总体上来看,除时间洞察力的未来维度与网络游戏成瘾呈负相关外,大学生时间洞察力各维度与网络游戏成瘾呈正相关,自我控制与网络游戏成瘾呈负相关;(2)结构方程模型结果表明,将时间洞察力的五个维度同时纳入中介模型后,自我控制在时间洞察力的过去消极、未来、现在宿命、现在享乐维度和网络游戏成瘾中起中介作用;(3)多群组比较表明,自我控制在时间洞察力和网络游戏成瘾中的中介作用不存在性别差异。综上,大学生时间洞察力的未来维度通过提高大学生自我控制间接影响其网络游戏成瘾,而时间洞察力的过去消极、现在宿命和现在享乐维度会通过损害大学生自我控制间接影响其网络游戏成瘾。

To explore the mediating role of self-control in the relationships between time perspectives and Internet gaming addiction in college students,Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory,Self control Scale and Internet Game Addiction Scale for college students were administered to 708 college students.Results showed that:(1)In general,past and present dimensions of time perspective were positively correlated with Internet gaming addiction,however,future-oriented time perspective was negatively correlated with Internet gaming addiction.Self-control was negatively correlated with Internet gaming addiction.(2)Self-control mediated the relationships between time perspective(including past-negative and present-hedonistic and present-fatalistic and future-oriented time perspective)and Internet gaming addiction.(3)The multi-group comparison analysis found that the mediating effect of self-control had no gender differences.In sum,the current study suggested that college students’future-oriented time perspective had indirect effect on Internet gaming addiction through improving their self-control,meanwhile,their past-negative and present-hedonistic and present-fatalistic time perspective had indirect effect on Internet gaming addiction through reducing self-control.
