Power of Internet platform enterprises is more of a practical situation,rather than a legal status.It formed during the decentralization and recentralization of the internet system:holding user information gives them the power to grant market access,allocate resources,and implement regulations.Platforms have feudalized and become"walled gardens"with.users as property within their territory when users are trapped in"information cocoons"due to path dependence.
