高中英语课堂教师具体表扬行为的观察与分析

Observation and Analysis on the Act of Specific Praise Employed by Senior High School Teachers in English Class

采用课堂观察和会话分析的研究方法,以第十届高中英语课堂教学观摩研讨会的30节优质课为研究对象,分析高中英语教师具体表扬的分布特点以及不同归因取向的具体表扬对学生英语学习的影响。结果表明:高中英语教师实施的具体表扬较少,笼统表扬较多;能力取向的具体表扬高于努力取向的具体表扬,思维能力取向的具体表扬又高于语言能力取向的具体表扬。建议高中英语教师增强具体表扬意识,提高具体表扬的使用频率;关注具体表扬的归因取向,提高具体表扬的促学功能。

This paper adopts classroom observation and conrersation analysis methods to analyze the distribution characteristics of senior high school English teachers'specific praise and the influence on students'English learning.The findings show that there is less specific praise but more general praise given by senior high school English teachers;there is more ability-oriented praise than effort-oriented praise,and more thinking-ability-oriented praise than language-ability-oriented praise.Based on the findings,this paper suggests that senior high school English teachers should enhance the awareness of specific praise,increase the frequency of using specific praise,pay attention to the attribution orientation of specific praise and improve the promoting function of specific praise.
