赣南客家文化英语译介发展路径探析

Exploration on the Developmental Path for Gannan Hakka Culture Translation

地方族群文化是中国文化的重要组成部分,但相比于中华主体文化,其英语译介发展严重滞后,亟待得到更多关注。为进一步促进海内外文化互鉴,增强中华文化的国际影响,本文以赣南地区客家文化为例,尝试探索地方文化译介发展的现实可能路径。结合赣南客家文化特点,文章从赣南客家文化译介内容规划、翻译策略研究以及数字化建设三个方面,提出赣南客家文化英语译介实践和研究的未来发展路径,以期为广大地方族群文化译介方案设计和政策制定提供有价值的参考建议。

Local ethnic cultures,in comparison to the dominant culture in China,are lagging much behind in their English translation and in urgent need of more attention.To further promote the mutual learning between cultures and enhance international influence of Chinese culture,this paper,taking Gannan Hakka culture as an example,attempts to explore the possible developmental paths of local culture translation.This paper has analyzed the potential development paths of English Gannan Hakka culture translation from the perspective of content planning,translation strategies and digitization construction,in the hope of offering some valuable reference to the scheme design and policy making concerning local culture translation.
