多模态审美批评话语分析框架建构研究

On constructing a multimodal aesthetic critical discourse analysis framework

本文从多模态批评话语分析与美学语言学的合作空间与基础入手,阐释多模态批评话语分析向美学语言学领域拓展的可能性,继而借助美学语言学、系统功能语法和视觉语法的成功经验,尝试创建一个由两大模块(非语言符号和语言符号)、三个维度(审美特征描述、审美说明和审美评价)、六大范畴(再现方式、互动方式、构图方式、概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能)及其次级范畴(如叙述再现、概念再现、接触、社会距离、态度等)构成的多模态审美批评话语分析框架。该框架关注多模态符号对符号接收者审美体验的影响效果,致力于分析多模态符号的审美潜势与互动效果,探索能够赋予符号接收者美好审美体验的最佳多模态表达方式。最后,本文以一则涉陕外宣英语旅游新闻为例,验证该框架的实用性,展示其对讲好中国故事,展现真实、立体、全面的中国,提高我国媒体国际影响力的参考意义以及对我国外宣实践的指导作用。

This research discusses the possibility of the cooperation between multimodal critical discourse analysis and aesthetic linguistics,and explains the rationality of extending of multimodal critical discourse analysis into the field of aesthetic linguistics.Then,with aesthetic linguistics,systemic functional grammar and visual grammar,a multimodal aesthetic critical discourse analysis framework is established,which consists of two modules(non-linguistic and linguistic symbols),three dimensions(aesthetic description,explanation and evaluation),six categories(representation mode,interaction mode,composition mode,ideational function,interpersonal function and discourse function)and their subcategories(such as narative representation,ideational representation,contact,social distance and attitude,etc.)as well.The framework focuses on the aesthetic experience of recipients exerted by multimodal symbols,works on analyzing the interactive playing and aesthetic potential of various multimodal symbols and eventually aims to figure out a solution that may best enhance the aesthetic experience of multimodal symbol recipients.Finally,taking a piece of Shaanxi-related English tourism news as sample,the effectiveness of the framework as well as its guiding role in the efforts of telling a good story about China,representing China honestly in a more comprehensive and vivid way,increasing the global influence of Chinese media as well as bettering the publicity practice of the Chinese government.
