The spread and growth of postmodernism has deconstructive effects on the ideals and beliefs of the youth,including making their ideals and beliefs in life tend to be cynic,professional ideals and beliefs trend to be individualistic,and moral ideals and beliefs trend to be relativistic.The ideals and beliefs of the youth not only affect the future of the youth,but also relate to the future of the country.Therefore,the country must strengthen the guidance of Marxism and the society must use the function of ideological and political education to guide the youth to reshape lofty ideals and beliefs;young individuals must also enhance their ability of value judgment,understand and use new online media correctly to overcome the negative influences of postmodernism and reshape lofty ideals and beliefs.
