高中英语记叙文常见修辞格语言功能分析及教学建议

An Analysis on the Functions of Commonly Used Figures of Speech in English Narration and Teaching Suggestions

本文采用文本分析法,对外研社普通高中教科书(2019年版)英语必修模块1-3册记叙文语篇的修辞格进行统计和分析,发现该教材记叙文修辞格分布较为广泛,其中夸张、排比、反复、隐喻、明喻五种修辞格最为常见。进一步分析和统计五种常用修辞格的语言功能,结合修辞格教学现状,建议教师关注修辞格的语言功能,提高修辞格教学意识;设计修辞格学习活动,培养学生修辞格赏析能力;设计续写和描写任务,提高学生修辞格运用能力。

By the method of quantitative statistics and qualitative analysis,the authors analyzed the figures of speech in narrations selected from the compulsory modules of FLTRP NSE Student’s Books(2019).The research shows that the five commonly used figures of speech in narrations are hyperbole,parallelism,repetition,metaphor and simile.Based on the further analysis of the functions of the figures of speech in the texts,the authors put forward the following suggestions on teaching English narrations:Focus on the functions of figures of speech and raise the consciousness of teaching them;design appreciating activities to develop students’ability of appreciating figures of speech in reading;design continuation and description writings tasks to improve students’ability of using figures of speech in writing.
