Folk Charity in China:Germination,Development and Revival

中国民间慈善事业由来已久,历经朴素福利观的萌芽、创新开拓发展、衰落与复兴等三个阶段。本文研究认为,我国民间慈善在守正创新发展中走向未来,总体上形成以“平等、公正、理性、自助”为原则的开放共享新理念,以“内部网络、垂直网络、市场网络、机会网络”为特征的组织整体发展新特征,以“主体大众化、方式市场化、方向多样化、使用透明化”为特征的社会众筹新模式,以“形态纷呈、工具互联、跨界合作、国际交流”为特征的繁荣发展新内容,以“内部治理、政府治理、市场治理、社会治理”为特征的合作治理新格局。

With a long history,China's folk charity has gone through three stages of development:the germination of simple welfare concept in ancient times,the exploration and innovation in modern times,and the decline and revival in contemporary times.In the new era,China's folk charity is heading towards the future in its upright innovation with many new features,including the new concept of open sharing based on the principles of“equality,justice,rationality,and self-help”;the new organization form characterized by“internal network,vertical network,market network,and opportunity network”;the new mode of social crowd-funding of popularization of main body,marketization of methods,diversified directions,and transparency of use;the new content of diversified forms,interconnected tools,cross-border cooperation,and international exchanges;and the new pattern of cooperative governance of internal governance,government governance,market governance,and social governance.
