Searching for Harmony: The Healing Power of Music and Medicine--Review of“The Sixth International Conference on Music and Medicine”

国际音乐与医学协会(IAMM)“第六届音乐与医学国际学术会议”,于2020年5月30至31日通过网络平台ZOOM直播隆重举行。此次会议是在新冠肺炎疫情肆虐之下,首次以网络形式召开的相关主题的跨学科国际盛会。来自中国、美国、英国、德国、奥地利、瑞典、荷兰、意大利、日本、韩国、泰国等国家和中国香港、中国台湾等地区的几千名学者和会员参加了会议。该文从在线会议主题演讲、主题网络研讨会、主题论文/海报演讲三大部分对会议进行了梳理,展现了跨学科音乐与医学研究的成果。

The“Sixth International Conference on Music and Medicine”of the International Association of Music and Medicine(IAMM)was held on May 30th-31st,2020,through the live broadcast of the online platform ZOOM.This conference was the first interdisciplinary international event held in the form of a network,due to raging epidemic of COVID-19.Thousands of scholars and members from China,the United States,the United Kingdom,Germany,Austria,Sweden,the Netherlands,Italy,Japan,South Korea,Thailand and other countries attended the conference.This article sorts out the conference from three parts:online conference keynote speech,topic webinar,and topic paper/poster speech.This conference focused on the results of interdisciplinary music and medical research,with an open academic research attitude,diverse perspectives,various methods,and cutting-edge research results,breaking geographical restrictions and sharing the results of academic research.
