Social Changes in Modern Times and Reproduction of Schools of Martial Arts

门户是中国武术社会文化研究中具有分析功能的中国特色词汇之一。在文化人类学与历史人类学相结合的田野调查中,武术人类学研究可就不同历史时期门户应对社会需求与武术自身发展轨迹的问题展开空间再生产的探究。研究认为,作为武术拳种流派文化生产或文化传承的社会单位,门户是武术人社会活动的产物,出于武术人的心理和社会需要,可谓之微观政治视野下的治理方式,表征武术人在日常生活中的社会生产,并以此形成强调生产关系的拳种流派共同体,生成具有象征意义的武术文化符号价值。

"Menhu".which refers to schools or factions,is one of the terms with Chinese characteris-tics and has analytical function in the social and cultural study of Chinese martial arts.In the field research combining cultural anthropology and historical anthropology.martial arts anthropology can carry out stud-ies on spatial reproduction of Chinese martial arts concerning how different schools in different historical periods respond to social needs and the development of martial arts itself.This paper holds that as a social unit for cultural production or inheritance.schools of martial arts resulted from the social activities of mar-tial arts practitioners,which can be taken as a governance method in the context of micro-politics based on the psychological and social needs of the practitioners.T hey represent the social production of martial arts practitioners in daily life,thus forming a community of different schools of martial arts that emphasize pro-duction relationship.and generating symbol values of martial arts culture.
