国家对外话语体系的译介与传播研究:评述与展望

Theorising Translation and Dissemination of National Discourse Systemfor Global Communication:Retrospect and Prospect

国家对外话语体系是综合国力的重要表征,攸关国家形象塑造和国际话语权竞争。当前,中国对外话语体系的译介与传播实践存在着诸多现实挑战与理论难题。在廓清国家对外话语体系译介与传播的研究性质及其意义的基础上,评述国内外相关学术脉络与研究现状、总结其中的局限与弊端、展望未来的研究动向具有重要的现实意义。基于以上认识,学界应以问题为导向,创设多学科交叉融合的“对外话语研究”领域,探索国家对外话语体系综合研究模式和实证研究方法;同时,学界也应观照全球话语体系的多元构成,以“阐释性翻译”和“多模态传播”为立足点,推动国家对外话语体系译介传播理论创新,为优化中国对外话语战略提供智力支持。

National discourse system for global communication(NDSGC),an embodiment of national strength,plays a pivotal role in shaping a country’s global image and power influence.Over the past few years,the translation and dissemination of NDSGC has emerged as an issue of grave concern for both decision-makers and researchers in China’s communication with the rest of the world.This paper evaluates the current investigations into the delivery of NDSGC and provides suggestions for future research in this field.A critical review of the literature about NDSGC indicates a lack of clarity and consistency in its research paradigm.It is suggested that an integrated interdisciplinary and empirical research model be framed towards a featured research area of global discourse studies(GDS).In addition,theoretical innovations highlighting“interpretive translation”and“multimodal communication”are proposed to enrich China’s discourse strategy for global communication.
