Modern think tanks emerged,developed and flourished in the United States.As the inventor of the modern think tank system,the United States has modern think tanks with the longest history,the largest number,the most comprehensive variety and the largest influence.Through a brief analysis of modern think tanks in the United States,this study will be of great reference significance to the construction of a new type of modern think tanks in China.This thesis uses the method of theoretical research and literature review to make a multi-dimensional classified review of the rise background,development process,function type and influence evaluation of modern think tanks in the United States from the perspective of public decision-making.Influenced by its specific political system,historical origin,cultural factors,ideology and other factors,the rise and prosperity of modern think tanks in the United States may continue to be the leader of modern think tanks in the world for a long time in the future.
