一种融合虚拟机选择的虚拟机放置方法 被引量:1

摘要 为了节省云数据中心的能量消耗,提出一种融合虚拟机选择的虚拟机放置方法。该策略将虚拟机迁移过程划分为物理主机状态检测,虚拟机选择和虚拟机放置3个步骤;在物理主机状态检测和虚拟机选择阶段,选取了Cloudsim项目中已有的且被证明是优秀的鲁棒局部归约检测方法和最小迁移时间选择方法;在最后的虚拟机放置阶段,以虚拟机和物理主机双方稳定匹配为目标,采用一种融合虚拟机选择与放置过程之间密切结合的虚拟机迁移策略,该策略可以保证活动物理主机的硬件资源有比较满意的利用效率;使用CloudSim作为云数据中心仿真环境。实验结果表明:与Cloudsim中已有的虚拟机迁移办法相比,提出的放置方法中云数据中心的各类性能指标都可以得到改善,该实验结果对于其他企业构造节能云数据中心有很好的参考价值。 In order to save the energy consumption in cloud data centers,an interrelation strategy for virtual machine selection and placement called Inter_VMM was proposed and discussed in this paper.In our approach,the virtual migration process was divided into physical host status detection,virtual selection and virtual placement.Local Regression Robust(LRR)algorithm was adopted to identify critical hosts in the first procedure.In the second procedure,Minimum Migration Time(MMT)policy was also used for selecting VMs on critical hosts to be migrated.In the virtual placement,a deferred acceptance procedure was adopted to handle conflicts among preferences of VMs and physical hosts which can gain the stable matching for both party groups in our matching process.In this virtual machine migration mode,the active hosts can operate close to a desirable utilization threshold.Inter_VMM was evaluated using Cloudsim with real-world workload data.The experimental results and performance analysis show our strategy leads to a further improvement compared with the old migration strategies in Cloudsim.Our strategy is valuable for other cloud providers to build a low energy consumption cloud data center.
