摘要
在中国现当代文学百年发展史上,“乡下人进城”早已成为一个较为恒定的叙事母题。某种意义上,描写乡下人进城的作品,所观照的虽是乡下人在城里的生活,实质上却是当代乡村叙事的自然延续。值得注意的是,李佩甫众多“乡下人进城”叙事文本基本共享着一种“城乡两地书”的结构模式。这种惯常使用的有意味的形式,传达出这一书写模式背后作家个人的意识形态动机。这一特点在长篇小说《城的灯》《生命册》里表现得尤为典型,折射出李佩甫在对城市、乡村进行书写的过程中价值与情感取向上的执着以及关于现代性的迷思。
Over a hundred years′history of modern and contemporary Chinese literature,"countrymen entering the city"has long been a rather constant narrative subject.Writings depicting countrymen moving into cities are both the mirror of their urban life and the extension of current rural narratives.It is notable that quite a few of Li Peifu′s texts with the narrative of"countrymen entering the city"share the same structure of"urban-rural parallel narrative".His custom of adopting such a"special mode"implies the author′s personal ideological motives underlying his works.This characteristic is particularly pronounced in Li Peifu′s novels The Light of the Cities and Book of Life,reflecting his persistence in the orientation of values and emotion as well as his contemplation on modernity during his writing of the city and the country.
