摘要
人类语言中普遍存在着概念隐喻,经济话语中相关词汇的概念隐喻使用频繁,常见的有“旅程”“战争”等结构隐喻,“上”“下”等方位隐喻,“人”“容器”等本体隐喻,用来描述经济活动中相类似的现象。文章具体分析了这些概念隐喻如何从源域出发,映射到目标域,把抽象的经济概念和经济现象描述得通俗易懂,其实质隐藏着相应的认知基础与倾向,深入分析这些概念隐喻能使学生更好地理解此类英语经济语篇,对英语经济话语教学具有重要的意义。
Conceptual metaphors commonly exist in human languages, and they are frequently used in relative words of economics discourse, including "journey", "war" as structural metaphors, "up", "down" as orientational metaphors, and "person", "container" as ontological metaphors to describe the similar phenomena in economic activities. This paper analyzes specifically on how these metaphors map into target domains from source domains, making the abstract economic concepts and phenomena easier to understand, which essentially covers the relative cognitive basis and tendency. Students can understand these English economic texts better by analyzing the conceptual metaphors deeply, thus having the great importance in English economic texts teaching.
