Taking Sichuan Building Science as an example,the dilemmas faced by the development of architectural science non-core journals are summarized,including the challenges of management mechanism and manuscripts.The corresponding countermeasures are put forward:the periodical sponsor should set up the corresponding management department and establish the editor evaluation system;adhere to the content as the king and strengthen the planning of high-quality columns;strengthen the construction of talent team and cultivate editorial talents;and promote the development of periodical informatization and broaden the dissemination channels.
