As an important thought on governance and administration of state affairs,General secretary Xi Jinping’s thought on poverty alleviation is endowed with abundant scientific methodologies,which is a summary of historical experience as well as an innovation of socialism construction with Chinese characteristics in the new era.This article,on the basis of analyzing general secretary Xi Jinping’s thought on poverty alleviationsince 2012,explores the intrinsically scientific and rigorous principle of methodology in order to conscientiously sum up the related practices and experiences on poverty alleviation and achieve full scale victory in battling poverty.
