“Labor”is the fundamental and core concept of labor education in the new era.It is of reference value for comprehensive,accurate understanding of labor,labor education and the comprehensive strengthening of labor education in primary,secondary schools and colleges in the new era by exploring and feeling the origin and evolution,practicality and nationality,diversity and richness of labor from its etymology,excellent traditional Chi⁃nese culture and daily life to recognize and understand the scientific nature,pertinence,political nature and value of labor from the educational perspective,Marxist perspective,especially general secretary Xi Jinping’s important statement on labor and labor education.
