纪念徐僖先生100周年诞辰,恰逢世界高分子界在纪念高分子科学诞生100周年。文中简要介绍了国内外高分子材料科学领域的主要发展动态、我国高分子材料快速发展及目前尚存在的挑战及短板。概述了国际上对高分子科学未来发展的前景。

This overview on science and engineering of polymer material is dedicated to late Professor Xu Xi in memory of his 100 years birthday.The great achievements and the remained issues in polymer materials in China have been summarized briefly.Based on the reviews published recently on occasion of celebrating 100 years of polymer science,the progress and perspective of polymer material science and engineering were introduced.
