农村籍大学生语言态度调查研究

The Development Mode of Rural College Students’Language Attitudes from the Perspective of Sociolinguistics

农村籍大学生语言态度调查极具现实意义。项目组采用问卷及访谈相结合的方法,以564名西部农村籍大学生为样本,调查大学生从大一到大四对普通话、家乡话及学校所在地方言的语言态度变化。结果发现:(1)农村籍大学生对普通话评价较高,整体呈上升趋势;(2)农村籍大学生对家乡话的评价波动较大;(3)农村籍大学生对学校所在地方言的态度呈现出阶段性的发展态势。在跨度四年的大学生活中,农村籍大学生语言能力有所提高,由单一语言交际者转变为多语交际者。农村籍大学生语言态度发展变化的模式与自身的情感体验、语言社会化、语言生活环境、社会阅历以及对外部世界认知的变化关系密切。

A survey on the language attitudes of rural college students is of great importance.Using a combination of questionnaires and interviews,a sample of 564 college students of rural origin in western China were surveyed from their freshman to senior year on the changes in their attitudes toward Mandarin,their home dialects and the local dia⁃lects of their schools.The results showed that:(1)the rural college students’evaluation of Putonghua was higher,with an overall upward trend;(2)the rural college students’evaluation of Hometown dialect fluctuated more;(3)the rural college students’attitude toward the dialect of their school location showed a stage development.Over the span of four years of university life,college students of rural origin have improved their language ability and changed from monolingual communicators to multilingual communicators.The pattern of language attitude development among rural college students is closely related to their own emotional experience,language socialization,language life envi⁃ronment,social experience,and changes in their perception of the outside world.
