Significance of the public library completing image resources construction on its own:taking the construction of image digital resources in Nanjing Library as an example

公共图书馆在文化共享、传承以及传播的过程中,不仅要做好传递的角色,更应利用现有资源,拓展业务范围,采集和保存一手资源,为公共文化发展提供最直接的信息。文章以南京图书馆影像资源中心在10余年内的影像资源建设工作为例,阐述公共图书馆在文化共享工程数字影像资源工作中的能力和贡献,突出体现自主建设的优势和长远意义,更提出了在未来智慧图书馆时代,公共图书馆如何利用自身资源,发挥公共文化导向的作用。

In the process of cultural sharing,inheritance and dissemination,the public library should not only do a good job in the role of transmission,but also make good use of the existing resources,expand the business scope,collect and preserve first-hand resources,and provide the most direct information for the development of public culture.Taking the image resources construction work of Nanjing Library Image Resources Center in more than 10 years as an example,this paper expounds the ability and contribution of the public library in the digital image resources work of the cultural sharing project,highlights the advantages and long-term significance of independent construction,and puts forward how the public library will use its own resources and play the role of the public cultural orientation in the future intelligent library era.
