国外高校提供科研数据管理服务的思路及启示

Ideas and enlightenment of providing research data management service in foreign universities

高校作为科研数据产出的主要机构,愈发重视科研数据的管理与利用。文章利用文献研读与案例调研相结合的方式,探索国外高校提供科研数据管理服务的动机因素,并重点分析普渡大学、爱丁堡大学、莫纳什大学、伊利诺伊大学香槟分校以及瓦格宁根大学这5所高校提供的科研数据管理服务内容以及实现这些服务的途径。国内高校在考虑提供科研数据管理服务时,可以结合国外高校提供科研数据管理服务的思路,重点思考与分析以下几方面的内容:明晰提供科学数据管理服务的动机;建立以图书馆为核心的利益相关者合作模式;提供合适的服务内容;选择合理的实现途径。

As the main organization of scientific research data output,universities pay more and more attention to the management and utilization of scientific research data.Using the combination of literature study and case study,this article explores the motivation factors of providing scientific research data management services in foreign universities.The content of scientific research data management services provided by Purdue University,Edinburgh University,Monash University,the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Wageningen are analyzed and the ways to realize these services are analyzed.When domestic universities consider providing scientific research data management services,they can focus on the following aspects:clarifying the motivation for providing scientific data management services;building a library-centered stakeholder collaboration model;providing appropriate service content;choosing a reasonable way to achieve it.
