湖北省古生物科学研究和成果转化的回顾与展望

Retrospect and Prospect of Scientific Research and Achievement Transformation of Paleontology in Hubei Province

湖北省古生物科学工作历史悠久,在众多学者、团队努力下,百余年来积累了丰富的科学研究和转化应用成果。通过对前人文献进行收集与整理,系统梳理全省古生物化石采集研究的代表性工作和重要古生物科学发现,并结合实地调查,对全省古生物科研成果转化情况进行归纳说明。在此基础上,初步探讨当前和下一个时期相关工作开展的利弊条件,分析认为湖北省古生物科学事业正处在重要的发展机遇期,虽存在困难和挑战,但工作前景总体向好。围绕下一步工作推动,探讨提出“加强基础科研、加强转化应用、加强统筹推进”等三方面建议。

Paleontological work in Hubei province has a long history.Thanks to the efforts of many scholars and teams,rich scientific research and transformational application results have been accumulated over the past 100 years.Through the collection and sorting of predecessors'literature,the representative work of the province's paleontological fossil research and important paleontological scientific discoveries have been systematically reviewed,and combined with field investigations,the transformation of the province's paleontological scientific research results has been summarized and explained.On this basis,preliminarily discussed the advantages and disadvantages of relevant work in the current and the next period,and analyzed that the paleontology science undertaking in Hubei Province is in an important period of development opportunities.Although there are difficulties and challenges,the work prospects are generally good.Focusing on the next step of relevant work promotion,put forward three suggestions“strengthening basic scientific research,strengthening transformation application,and strengthening overall planning”.
