Progress in reclassification of Mycobacteria into five genera

2018年2月,Gupta等[1]建议将分枝杆菌属(Mycobacterium)成员重新分类。分枝杆菌属最高水平中存在5个不同的单系分组(monophyletic groups),分别为Tuberculosis-Simiae(结核-猿猴,TS)、Terrae(土地,Te)、Triviale(次要,Tr)、Fortuitum-Vaccae(偶发-母牛,FV)、Abscessus-Chelonae(脓肿-龟,AC)。Gupta等由此建议分枝杆菌属(Mycobacterium)重新分类为5个属,并依次对科和5个属进行了描述。

In February 2018,Gupta et al.[1]suggested reclassification of the members of the genus Mycobacterium.The genus Mycobacterium comprises five monophyletic groups,which are Tuberculosis-Simiae(TS),Terrae(Te),Triviale(Tr),Fortuitum-Vaccae(FV)and Abscessus-Chelonae(AC).Therefore,Gupta et al.suggested reclassifying the genus Mycobacterium into the five genera and characterized the family Mycobacteriaceae and the five genera in turn.
