Empowerment Mechanism of the Internet Platform in Mutational Situation——A Longitudinal Case Study Based on the WeDoctor Platform

互联网平台在应对突变情境时,可展现出资源集聚、效率提升、联结多元等独特优势,探究互联网平台如何利用平台优势达成应对环境变化的快速响应效果,是值得业界和学界关注的重要议题。本文选取微医平台(WeDoctor)为研究对象,通过分析平台在对突变情境进行快速响应时赋能的实现过程,探寻突变情境下互联网平台的赋能机制。研究发现:平台对突变情境的响应呈现出由应急响应到预案响应的阶段性演变,赋能过程是平台快速响应突变情境的关键;赋能过程为平台及相关参与者构建了价值共创的互动情境,平台的赋能水平在与被赋能者的互动中实现跃迁;平台快速响应突变情境的赋能机制表现为由赋能间的交互实现的平台价值提升。本文将传统对于赋能理论的研究情境拓展到应急决策领域的探讨,拓宽了赋能理论对于平台快速响应行为的解释边界,贡献于对赋能过程内在逻辑的解构和深化。

Internet platforms have demonstrated unique advantages such as resource concentration,efficiency improvement,and multiple connections in mutational situation.Exploring how Internet platforms can make full use of platform advantages to quickly respond to environmental changes is an important issue worthy of the attention of industry and academia.It selected WeDoctor as the research object and explored the enabling mechanism of the Internet platform in mutational situation,by analyzing the empowerment process of the platform respond quickly to the mutational situation.It finds that:the platform’s response shows a phased evolution from emergency response to plan response in mutational situation,and the empowerment process is the key to the platform’s rapid response to mutational situation;the empowerment process of the platform builds an interactive context for value co-creation for the platform and platform participants.The transition of platform empowerment level will be promoted in the interaction with the enabled person;the platform’s empowerment mechanism for rapid response to mutational situation appears to be platform value enhancement realized by interaction between empowerment.It extends the traditional research context of empowerment theory to the discussion of emergency decision-making,broadens the interpretation boundary of empowerment theory for the rapid response behavior of the platform,and contributes to the deconstruction and deepening of the internal logic of the empowerment process.
