专业硕士研究生外语5C学习标准教学实践

摘要 目前高等农业院校大学外语教学尤其研究生外语教学需要深化改革,结合21世纪的外语学习目标,介绍和引用"5C学习标准"对提高外语学习意义产生较大影响,"5C学习标准"是五个以英文字母C开头的单词:交际(Communication)、文化(Cultures)、贯连(Connections)、比较(Comparisons)和社团(Communities)的简称,强调在外语学习中将沟通、文化、联系、比较和社区五个部分紧密联系起来,其核心是以交际为目的,强调文化作用与其他学科的知识渗透,最终立足于语言应用和文化交流。这启示高等农业院校研究生外语教学尝试以5C学习标准为主线,应用微课为基础的多模态现代化教学手段、结合文化主题、情境化学习环境及多维度评估体系,提出专业硕士学位人才培养的新理念,把封闭式外语课堂教学改变为开放式、密切联系实际的外语实践教学,探讨实践活动在高等农业院校大学外语教学中的可行性和有效性,着力培养5C学习标准的复合应用型专业人才,解决以教师为主体的重知识轻交际、重接受轻探究的现实教学困惑,切实提高研究生外语综合运用能力、培养外语学习与文化交流的可持续发展能力,最终立足于语言应用、文化交流和与其他学科的知识渗透。 The paper analyzes the necessity and urgency of the reform of foreign language teachingin agricultural universities,especially at postgraduate level.Considering foreign language learning goal in the 21st century,"5C Iearning Standard"-five terms beginning with the letter"C",namely,Communication,Cultures,Connections,Comparisons and Communities,is important in teaching.It holds that the five parts-communication,cultures,connections,comparisons and communities-should be combinedclosely in the process of foreign language learning.With the main goal being communication,it emphasizes the knowledge penetration of cultures with other subjects,making the application of languages and the communication of cultures its base.It reveals that"5C learning standard"should be the main thread in the agricultural university foreign language teaching.Modern teaching methods with multi-modules on the basis of micro-lectures should be employed.Combining cultural theme,situational learning environment and multi-dimensional assessment system,colleges and universities put forward a new concept for professional master degree program.The enclosed foreign language teaching can be changed to open foreign language teaching in close contact with the reality.The feasibility and effectiveness of practical activities in the agricultural university foreign language teaching were discussed.Great efforts should be made to cultivate professional talents with"5C Learning Standard".The new concept should abandon the traditional teaching mode which lays emphasis on knowledge and passive acceptance while ignores communication and exploration.We should improve the comprehensive foreign language ability of our postgraduates and develop their learning ability of foreign language and their sustainable ability of cultural communication,making languages'application,cultural communication and the knowledge penetration with other subjects our final goals.
