摘要
作为英语语言能力的基本技能之一,听力一直是英语教学中的难点。因此,找到一个能真正提高听力水平的教学方法就成为一个难题。语块理论自提出以来,就引起了国内外学者的关注。语块的形式相对固定、和语境融为一体,且出现频率高,比较容易掌握。本文旨在探索语块理论与英语听力之间的关系,并探讨它在本科院校英语听力教学中的应用。通过语块教学法,能够增强学生对听力学习的兴趣并提高其听力水平。
As one of the basic skills of English learning,listening has always been the difficult point in English teaching.Therefore,it is not easy to find a method to improve learners'listening ability.The lexical chunk theory attracted the attention of scholars both from China and abroad.Lexical chunks are conventionalized,relatively fixed,which are also can be used to organize and construct the discourses.This thesis is aimed to explore the relationship between lexical chunk theory and English listening and discusses its application in teaching of college English,pointing out that teaching guided by lexical chunk theory can improve the students’interest and ability of listening.
