I Miss Cambridge

四这河身的两岸都是四季常青最葱翠的草坪。从校友居的楼上望去,对岸草场上,不论早晚,永远有十数匹黄牛与白马,胫蹄没在恣蔓的草丛中,从容的在咬嚼,星星的黄花在风中动荡,应和着它们尾鬃的扫拂。桥的两端有斜倚的垂柳与椈荫护住。水是澈底的清澄,深不足四尺,匀匀的长着长条的水草。这岸边的草坪又是我的爱宠,在清朝,在傍晚,我常去这天然的织锦上坐地,有时读书,有时看水;有时仰卧着看天空的行云,有时反仆着搂抱大地的温软。

ⅣThe river is flanked by perennially green lawns and meadows.Whether in the morning or in the evening,look from the Fellows'Building across the river,and you'll see scores of yellow cattle and white horses,enjoying their leisure time chewing grass,their hooves hidden amid overgrown grass.Yellow flowers dotting the meadow dance in the wind,as if to the beat of the herbivores swaying their tails.At both ends of the bridge are weeping willows with curtains of drooping branches and rows of cypress trees that provide cool shade.Water is crystal clear.
