To promote the clinical rational use of human albumin during cardiac perioperative period, a guideline was urgently needed to be developed to manage and guide albumin use. The protocol of guideline would introduce the methods and processes: including the establishment of the expert team, collection and identification of the clinical issues and outcomes, acquisition and evaluation of evidence, and consensus on recommend and so on.
