摘要
呼吸道、消化道以及生殖道是常见传染性疾病的出入口。自2019年12月份新型冠状病毒肺炎(COVID-19)疫情暴发以来,多种证据已表明新型冠状病毒(SARS-CoV-2)感染与长期食用海鲜及身处腥臊腐臭的环境有直接关系,这提示饮食不当或环境污染可能会增加SARS-CoV-2感染率。本文探讨“口”与“鼻”在SARS-CoV-2感染过程中的重要性,重新强调“病从口入”,为预防COVID-19或其他疾病的发生提供证据。
Most pathogenic microorganisms enter human body through the respiratory system,digestive system and reproductive system.Since the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)in December,2019,multiple studies have demonstrated a significant association of COVID-19 with seafood and fishy odor,which suggests that improper diet or polluted environment might increase the infection risk.Here we highlight that human“mouth”and“nose”can serve as important entrances of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),which may provide reference on prevention and control of infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
