晚明是一个社会剧烈变革的时代,全球贸易网络的形成,大规模城镇的出现,手工商业的迅速发展,极大地改变了中国原有的农耕社会模式,现代性社会的特征开始出现。伴随着工匠社会身份的转型和社会地位的提升,工匠的自我意识也开始觉醒,他们服务的对象由过去的朝廷转向社会,与文人和商人的交往更加紧密。这些因素都引发了匠人们对自己技艺的重新思考和审视,并最终促使他们意识到自身的价值、使命,以及对技艺应该持有的态度,这也意味着我国的工匠精神的诞生。发展至今日,工匠精神的价值重被社会提倡,传承工匠精神成为我们必须承担的历史责任。创新与超越是工匠精神的必然要求,我们必须在理解这一点的基础上不断地感悟、发掘和实践。

The late Ming Dynasty is an era of dramatic social change. The formation of Global trade network,the emergence of large cities,and the rapid development of manual commerce have greatly changed the original social model of farming in China,and began to show some characteristics of modern society. With the transformation and promotion of the social status of craftsmen,their self-consciousness also began to awaken. The objects they served changed from the past court to the society,and they had more close contact with the literati and businessmen. All of these factors have caused the artisans to rethink and examine their own skills,and finally make them realize their own value,mission,and attitude towards skills,which also means the birth of craftsman spirit in China. Now the value of craftsman spirit has been advocated by the society. It is our historical responsibility to inherit the craftsman spirit. Innovation and transcendence are the internal requirements of craftsman spirit. We must constantly understand,explore and practice on the basis of understanding this.
